Inkwa Environmental Services is a Level 1 B-BBEE company with 50% Black Woman ownership. It is an affiliate of the Institute of Waste Management Southern Africa. Inkwa Environmental Services was established in 2012.

Humble Beginnings
From humble beginnings with a second hand honey sucker truck the business now has an established client base across most industrial sectors and municipalities in KwaZulu Natal.

Industry Recognition
Under the leadership of founder and owner, Sthembiso Dube, Inkwa Environmental services has experienced exponential growth and is fast being recognised as a leading black owned environmental services business. Some of their more prominent long term corporate customers include Transnet, RCL Foods, Astral Foods and Ethekwini Municipality.

Leadership
Sthembiso Dube has sound academic qualifications and extensive industry experience. His academic qualifications include a diploma in road transportation specialising in waste management and the transportation of hazardous materials and waste classifications. He is also certified in the transportation and disposal of hazardous waste.

Associations
Sthembiso is the current chairman of the Environmental Management Forum of the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). DCCI is one of the largest business chambers in Africa with a membership of over 3500 businesses.
